Dr Preethy Raguraman is a qualified and experienced psychiatrist with over 9 years of experience in the field. She completed both M.B.B.S. and M.D.(Psychiatry) from Mahatma Gandhi Medical College and Research Institute.
She also holds short term training in Child & Adolescent psychiatry, Geriatric psychiatry and OCD from National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (NIMHANS).
She worked as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at Pondicherry Institute of Medical Sciences for 4 years involving in out-patient clinics and in-patient services. Following which, she joined as a Consultant Psychiatrist at Sunrise Hospital.
She is confident in diagnosing and treating all types of psychiatric disorders. Her fields of interest are Depressive disorders, Anxiety disorders and Stress related disorders. She is currently undergoing a certificate course for Child & Adolescent psychiatry with the Indian Association for Child and Adolescent Mental Health.
