Dr. Eliza Ali Mohammed is a highly accomplished and experienced senior radiologist with a rich background in both private and government healthcare sectors globally. Currently based in Dubai, UAE, she holds an MBBS and an MD in Radiology from the University of Bombay, India, where she achieved top honors, ranking first in her class and earning a Gold Medal.
With a career spanning over four decades, Dr. Eliza has held key positions in renowned medical institutions. She served as the Head of Radiology and Consultant in Diagnostic Radiology at Rashid Hospital, a JCI-accredited Referral and Trauma Centre in Dubai. In this role, she demonstrated proficiency in routine and special radiological procedures, total body ultrasound scans, CT imaging, extra cardiac angiography, and interventional procedures. Dr. Eliza has a special focus on breast-related procedures, including mammography and breast ultrasounds.
Her managerial responsibilities at Rashid Hospital included acting as the Head of Radiology, CAPEX management, and chairing the DHA Radiology equipment procurement committee. Dr. Eliza played a pivotal role in future developmental planning, staff orientation, and implementing a computerized Radiology X-ray Museum. She has also been actively involved in mentorship, lecturing, and conducting Continuous Professional Development programs.
Dr. Eliza extensive career includes roles at reputable institutions such as Dubai London Clinic and Specialty Hospital, Iranian Hospital, and St. James Hospital in Dublin, Ireland.
